Our WHY.
Kane was born with a rare genetic condition called XYY. This is a result of an extra Y chromosome. This disorder affects about 1 in 1000 boys. Many boys, men, families, etc. don't even know that they have XYY. Symptoms vary, and are considered to be on a spectrum. XYY is extremely similar to Autism. They can go hand in hand. Some boys have multiple symptoms, some have none or some only have one. "Normal" symptoms of this condition is low muscle tone, non-verbal, very tall, can cause learning disabilities,
Kaner & Co. was created to support our Kane. As we have evolved, we are more than ever focused on spreading awareness, kindness and inclusion for all Neurodiverse.
Our Mission.
Kaner & Co. wants to not only spread the Celebration of all Minds, we also want to find other Neurodiverse Advocates & Organizations to support the bigger cause.
